Two elements are combined in this exceptional object, which at first glance, do not seem to fit together at all: hard, solid concrete and soft, flexible fabric. With the help of a malleable, lightproof geo-textile as the supporting material and individual pillow-like bodies out of concrete, the designers, Memux, created this concrete curtain. The effect is both two-dimensional and far-reaching. An exceptional design, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, this concrete curtain breaks light on the fracture corners and allows movement creating musical sounds. Thanks to the properties, the chosen structure and the craftsmanship, the curtain offers protection from the wind, sun or light. In addition, it stores heat, can be used as a façade element or as a room divider.
